Aware of our role as a leader in the key trends shaping the industry, we are working to ensure that the 22nd Spanish Congress of Shopping Centers and Parks receives the AIS accessibility certification, thereby giving visibility and a voice to the range of actions that companies and workers in our sector undertake and incorporate into their daily routines—actions that speak to our commitment, responsible management, respect for the environment, carbon footprint reduction, sustainable development, professional best practices, and inclusion.
Our 2022 congress was the first in our country to receive this certification, and since then, in subsequent editions, we have sought to exemplify the joint efforts we make across shopping centers and retail parks to facilitate universal accessibility. Year after year, we continue to work toward the same goal: to highlight the efforts our sector is making to ensure that commercial spaces are comfortable, useful, and easily accessible to everyone who visits them, without exception, regardless of age or potential mobility or cognitive limitations.
To obtain this certification, we have been advised by the ARS Accessibility Foundation, which is responsible for certifying facilities and parks under the AIS 1/2023 standard, which establishes criteria for functional diversity—including physical, sensory, and cognitive aspects.
Implaser helps us implement all the necessary measures to ensure maximum accessibility.
The Spanish Association of Shopping Centers and Parks has organized a conference for everyone: people with specific needs and those without. In short, this is a conference committed to people.
